Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and NFL star Tom Brady welcome baby boy

Gisele Bundchen and her husband, Tom Brady, have hit the DNA jackpot.

The supermodel and NFL star have welcomed a baby boy, People.com reports.

Brady announced the news at a press conference Wednesday, calling it "a wonderful experience in my life."

According to The Boston Globe, Bundchen's mom and at least a few of her sisters were at her bedside during the delivery.

"It went great," said Brady, adding that mother and child are doing well. "I didn't get much sleep."
Just last week, Brady revealed that he found out the baby’s gender but was keeping it a secret from his supermodel wife at her request.

"I'm really the only one that knows,” Brady, 32, said. “She's a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, 'Go ahead.' It will be a surprise for her."

Bundchen, 29, and the New England Patriots quarterback tied the knot in a private Los Angeles ceremony in February. The couple welcomed friends and family to witness their followup wedding ceremony at Bundchen's Costa Rican estate.

It is the first child for Bundchen and the second for Brady, who has a 2-year-old son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan.
