Looks like President Bush and Vice President knowingly lied to Congress and the public about the threat Iraq posed to the United States in the months leading up to the invasion of the country in March 2003, according to a long-awaited report released Thursday by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
And if they lied about Iraq, what else are they lying about? [Sorry You Need To Be A Member To View Images and Links - Click Here To Register...] jk90 P.S. What's with all the sports forums in here, but there is no general forum where I could post this report? |

Stating the bleedin' obvious isn't it? Both Britain and Australia worked out that their governments had fibbed to them years ago and as the US administration was using the same intelligence reports they must also be lying.
It's what happens when you get politicians who make war for dogmatic rather than practical reasons, they know most people won't swallow their real reason which is: "God and the Cult of America told me to", so they have to come up with a faux practical reason (WMDs). Of course the bull**** doesn't stand up to concerted scrutiny but by the time most people realise it's bull**** it's too late. |
